motivated Pallet Disassembly Operators to join our Livonia, MI team
on 2nd shift. If you have experience using power tools and saws,
can sweat through 8-hours of repetitive heavy lifting, and a have
strong work ethic, a Disassembly Operator position with CHEP could
be a great fit! $21/hour starting wage ($.50 differential for 2nd
shift) 2nd shift - Monday-Friday, 3pm-11:30pm Weekly Pay with

leave, profit sharing, and MORE! Position Purpose The Disassembly
Operator is responsible for the efficient disassembling of either
the top or bottom component of pallets. Working in collaboration
with other assembly line operators, this role requires precision,
attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety protocols.
Major/Key Accountabilities Disassembly Follow repair guidelines to
execute the removal of defective components on both bottom deck and
top deck of pallet. Replace connector boards that are out of
specification. Quality Control Conduct visual inspections to
identify any defects or irregularities in pallet construction.
Ensure adherences to repair guidelines and quality standards
throughout the process. Safety and Compliance Adhere to all safety
protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following company
safety standards. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
daily. Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately.
Collaboration Work closely and harmoniously with other assembly
line operators. Communicate effectively to ensure smooth
transitions between assembly and processes. Collaborate with team
members to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during
the disassembly/assembly process. Qualifications High school
diploma or equivalent is preferred Familiarity with the operation
and maintenance of production tools such as pneumatic nail gun, or
other relevant tools and equipment Strong attention to detail and
commitment to producing high-quality work. The ability to
understand and communicate information is also essential. Ability
to work collaboratively with others. Ability to work flexible in an
ever-changing environment. Experience Proven experience in a
similar role in a manufacturing setting. Previous experience
following quality control procedures. Excellent communication
skills. Physical Requirements This role involves standing for
extended periods, lifting, and repetitive motion. Candidates must
be able to meet the physical demands of the job. Lift up to 75Lbs
