Job Description:
PAM Transport, a leader in North American freight and cargo
transportation since 1980, is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL
Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for
safely transporting goods across various states, ensuring timely
delivery and maintaining compliance with all federal and state
regulations. As a pivotal part of our logistics operations, your
commitment to safety and reliability will contribute directly to
our reputation for exceptional service. Operate a Class A truck in
accordance with traffic laws and regulations. Perform pre-trip,
en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and secure loads
properly. Report any incidents or accidents immediately and manage
the appropriate documentation. Maintain communication with dispatch
to ensure timely deliveries. Adhere to hours of service (HOS)
regulations and maintain detailed logbooks. Ensure the vehicle is
clean and maintained on a regular basis. Assist in loading and
unloading goods as needed. Proficient in operating Class A
commercial vehicles. Strong time management and punctuality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of
electronic equipment for navigation and communication. Ability to
perform minor vehicle repairs and handle emergency situations.
Medical Insurance Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Clean driving record. DOT medical card.
