Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for a part-time Speech-Language
Pathologist to provide specialized support within an elementary
school setting. This role focuses on serving an elementary caseload
of approximately 25 students, primarily in an Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD) environment, over a three-day workweek. Location:
Detroit, MI Setting: Elementary School Schedule: 22 hours per week
(3 days/week) Duration: Contract through June 11, 2026 Work
Environment: Onsite Key Responsibilities: - Deliver individualized
speech and language therapy services to students with diverse
communication needs, specializing in ASD - Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement
effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) - Monitor progress
and maintain thorough documentation of student performance - Use
evidence-based practices to support communication development and
functional communication skills Qualifications: - Active
Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license is required - Full
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) - Experience working
with elementary-aged students in a school setting, preferably with
ASD caseloads - Strong interpersonal and communication skills for
collaboration within a multidisciplinary team This position is
