This assignment offers a predictable weekday schedule , strong clinical support, and a focused outpatient setting. Assignment Details Location: Pontiac, MI Start Date: January 19, 2026 End Date: July 31, 2026 Providers Needed: 1 Coverage Type: Outpatient clinic and clinic call Days Required: Monday, Wednesday, Friday Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM On-Call: Clinic call only Reason for Coverage: Recruitment gap Compensation Hourly Rate: $285 Overtime: $440/hour Night Call: $420 24-Hour On Call: $2,520 Call Back: $440/hour (patient contact time only) Orientation: 50% of hourly rate Malpractice: Included in rates Practice Setting Outpatient Hematology & Oncology clinic Average 15–20 patients per day Formerly a two-physician practice with NP support Participation in tumor board required EMR: Cerner Clinical Responsibilities Provide outpatient hematology and medical oncology care Manage clinic visits, follow-ups, and treatment planning Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary discussions Coordinate care with nursing, infusion, and ancillary teams Document all encounters accurately in the EMR Provide clinic-based call coverage as needed Support Services Oncology RNs Medical Assistants Social Worker Dietitian Nurse Navigator Onsite infusion center Onsite CBC/lab services Presentation Requirements Current CV (including full locums history) Provider contact information Availability NPI and/or license number Malpractice and/or background documentation References (if available) Scope of services (if applicable) Home address, personal phone number, email address, and DOB (for presentation) Requirements REQUIRED Qualifications (HIGHLIGHTED) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology – REQUIRED Active Michigan medical license – REQUIRED BLS/ACLS certification – REQUIRED Must be local (no flight coverage) – REQUIRED Availability must be provided at time of name clear – REQUIRED NPDB Self-Query (pulled within 30 days of presentation) – REQUIRED Familiarity with Cerner EMR – Preferred Benefits ??
