We are looking for a Demand Planning Manager. The Demand Planning
Manager oversees the demand planning process across their business
line in a manner that shapes a collaborative consensus plan that
optimizes the balance between market opportunity and supply network
capability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain the business line/product lines rolling
demand forecast each month as part of the SIOP demand consensus
process, with an appropriate future time horizon
- Lead the monthly demand consensus meeting & work with business
unit leadership to create alignment on the consensus demand
plan
- Assist in development of annual plans (AOP) and reconcile them
with monetized demand plans, communicate any gaps between the
plans
- Influence and collaborate with key partners in marketing, sales
(field sales, corporate sales managers and Managers) and finance
and address input gaps as identified by forecast error, bias and
volatility review and other means
- Ensure that the demand forecast is shared/received in the
format, level of detail and timing required by all customers and
supply chain partners, with documented assumptions, to achieve the
various business objectives
- Incorporate POS and inventory levels of key customers to assist
in predicting how the business and product lines should react to
product phase in, phase out, warranty, availability, demand shifts,
promotions, events and competitive products.
- Where appropriate, lead Collaborative Planning, Forecasting &
Replenishment activities with key customers to facilitate a more
accurate demand plan
- Lead the assessment and impact of promotions and events on
demand, using what-if analysis to create scenarios and
recommendations
- Work closely with Manager of Supply Planning to assist the
teams in reconciling critical gaps in supply and demand, creating
scenario analysis and risk mitigation strategies
- Provide direction to demand planners and/or analysts (where
applicable) within the business line for process execution, talent
development and SKU level execution of the demand plan
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related business
disciplines.
Skills & Experience:
- 5-8 years applicable, progressive supply chain planning
experience; 2 years of formal leadership
- Strong supply chain planning experience with understanding of
product lifecycle and NPI
- Knowledge of forecasting processes in sales, marketing, finance
and manufacturing
- ASCM (Association of Supply Chain Management) CPIM
certification preferred
- Consumer Goods / Electronics / Aftermarket experience
preferred
