Job Description:
The System Pre-Development & Engine Calibration Engineer is
responsible for conducting propulsion systems and engine
calibration pre-development. The engineer will plan, coordinate,
and analyze data from engine dyno, powertrain dyno, chassis dyno
and HIL resources; including interaction with technicians and
support engineers. Evaluations will occur with new powertrain
technologies that span the hardware, calibration and control
domains. The engineer will analyze and solve complex system
problems as they relate to engine performance, fuel consumption,
emissions, and base engine calibration development. The engineer
will manipulate and utilize large and complex sets of engine
mapping data to create the base engine calibration which achieve
