Job Description Job Description Active Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) license and minimum 1 years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A temporary nursing
professional is needed to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support at
a K-12 school location serving preschool and childcare students in
Flint, MI. This leave contract position focuses on specialized care
for young children within a half-day schedule. Responsibilities
include: - Providing one-on-one nursing support to individual
students - Performing G-tube suctioning and tracheostomy (trach)
care with precision and safety - Assisting with toileting needs as
required, with the possibility of minimal involvement - Maintaining
compliance with district policies through proper onboarding
processes Qualifications: - Valid LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or
LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) certification, preferably with
experience in school nursing - Competency in tracheostomy care and
G-tube management essential - Ability to work effectively in a
school environment and support the health needs of children - Must
complete fingerprinting and obtain a district badge for access
Schedule and Duration: - Half-day shifts from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM -
Specific dates needed: February 3, 9, 12, 17, 19; March 5, 11;
April 7, 9, 10; May 7 - Position is leave coverage on a contract
basis Onboarding Requirements: - Completion of district badge
issuance and onsite fingerprinting are mandatory before starting -
Sub acceptance deadline is up to 8:00 AM or the official start time
