Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A skilled
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a contract position
in a K-12 school setting located in Carleton, MI. This role
supports students aged 2 to 26 years within a center-based model,
emphasizing mostly classroom consulting with limited direct
therapy. The position is available immediately and will continue
through June 17 as a maternity leave coverage. Key
Responsibilities: Provide speech-language services primarily
through classroom consultation. Support students across a wide age
range, from toddlers to young adults. Utilize AAC strategies as
needed to enhance communication. Collaborate with educators and
other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans.
Participate in scheduled meetings and maintain clear documentation.
Work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM,
with Wednesday hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM due to a weekly
meeting. Desired Qualifications: Valid Michigan State licensure as
an SLP. Experience working in a school or educational setting.
Familiarity with center-based service delivery models. Knowledge
and application of AAC tools and techniques. Strong interpersonal
and communication skills. Ability to manage a diverse caseload
across a wide age span. This contract opportunity is ideal for an
