Job Description Job Description We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team on a contract basis in Clinton Township, Michigan. In this role, you will focus on preparing individual tax returns, with occasional work involving corporate tax filings. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented and can work efficiently and accurately to meet deadlines. Responsibilities: • Prepare individual tax returns using UltraTax software. • Handle light corporate tax filings as needed. • Review financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations. • Utilize File Cabinet for document management and organization. • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients regarding their tax filings. • Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure proper application. • Collaborate with the team to resolve any discrepancies or issues in tax preparation. • Ensure all completed tax returns are submitted in a timely manner.• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tax Preparer. • Proficiency in using UltraTax software for tax preparation. • Strong knowledge of individual tax return processes. • Familiarity with corporate tax filing procedures. • Experience with File Cabinet for document management. • Competency in Microsoft Office applications. • Attention to detail and ability to adhere to deadlines. • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
